Legal Referral Service

M-LINC’s Director and Marquette law students work with Wisconsin law firms and corporate in-house counsel to pair eligible nonprofits with volunteer attorneys for FREE advice on discrete legal issues.

Nonprofits may contact M-LINC by phone, e-mail, or complete M-LINC’s online request form.

M-LINC also hosts a monthly clinic for nonprofit managers or directors who wish to discuss the nonprofit’s legal issues in person.

To be eligible for M-LINC’s free legal referrals, a nonprofit must:

• Be a 501(c)(3) organization;
• Have a legal issue; and
• Be unable to afford legal services without a substantial impairment of its programs.
